Who should Brock Lesnar face at Wrestlemania 32?
Hello, The Wrestling Brain is here, in 4 weeks time, we will know the result of the Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker match at Hell In A Cell and presumably we will also see the conclusion of their trilogy which began at Wrestlemania 30, but today I am going to talk about Brock Lesnar’s future plans with WWE and most importantly what the future holds for Brock at the biggest Wrestlemania ever. So realistically who are The Beast’s potential opponents? I have a handful of names and a handful of reasons why they should face Brock Lesnar at “The Showcase of the Immortals”
The Rock
“The Great One” vs “The Beast” at Wrestlemania at a packed out Cowboys Stadium in Texas on April 3rd is match waiting to happen and from a business standpoint I can see it happening because no matter what you may think of The Rock or Brock, they draw and there will be millions and millions of people watching around the world only on the WWE Network. The returning hero The Rock vs The Beast incarnate Brock Lesnar on the grandest stage of them all, could happen, but will it?
The Undertaker
Now even though I said that their Hell In A Cell encounter could be the last match of the trilogy between these two legends, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a 4th instalment between these two within two years. Let’s say their match at Hell In A Cell ends dodgy much like SummerSlam, Brock insists he can beat Undertaker again at Wrestlemania and this time if Undertaker loses he must retire. In Taker’s home-state of Texas, everyone would expect Taker to win but he doesn’t, Lesnar makes claim on his word and “The Phenom” retires at Wrestlemania, the biggest Wrestlemania ever, the biggest ever superstar at Wrestlemania finishes his career at Wrestlemania much like Shawn Michaels did 6 years ago.
Stone Cold Steve Austin
The Texas Rattlesnake back for one more match against Brock Lesnar again much like my previous two options, it has a Wrestlemania main event feel to it. Stone Cold will really be the returning hero and why else would there be a Stone Cold Podcast with Lesnar in a few weeks time unless WWE were setting up something however my only worry is Austin’s physical health, the man hasn’t been in a ring for over 10 years and hasn’t needed or wanted to make a return either, but it’s Wrestlemania for wrestling fans it’s their birthday and Christmas thrown into one, so why not for one more time, if you want to see Stone Cold Steve Austin open a can of whoopass on Brock Lesnar, gimme a hell yeah?
But these three options are the past of WWE and Brock Lesnar should face a man who I believe is the future of the WWE and his name goes by the calling of “Fight Owens Fight”
Kevin Owens
Ever since Kevin Owens made his debut in WWE he has dominated almost anyone who has stood in his way, much like a young Brock Lesnar did only 13 years ago. This is a match wanted by fans, and by Kevin Owens himself it is a match that will crown a new beast in WWE. Owens will be the heel in this scenario and in typical Paul Heyman fashion, I believe Heyman will turn on Brock and find himself a new beast and the new next big thing.
