Old Skool View’s A Global Review Episode 3

So it’s that time of the week again readers. I have watched the most recent episode of Impact and I am now ready to share my three good and three bad for the week, so let’s jump straight into it.

Three Good

Rosemary’s Short Promo –  Rosemary had a small and simple promo after Taya had hers and not only blew Taya out of the water, she blew KM’s & Impact’s from the opening segment. This brief promo was a prime example of how short and sweet can be just as effective as a longer promo.

Grado Storyline –  This week we had Grado wrestle in a hall in front of not many people but he’s making money. What a fresh storyline this is. He’s having fun, it’s GFW giving others a bit of publicity, and it’s giving Grado something to work with. I do look forward to see what next week brings for Grado, will h be working his way up in the world?

The International Flavour –  This weeks show had an awesome mix of International flavours which provided something for everyone. We had the AAA guys working together to setup the upcoming 6 man tag match, we had Texano vs Impact, we had Eli defend the GFW World Championship in Mexico, we had Kong vs Shera, and of course we had Grado. It was a nice blend, and I hope that trend continues.

Three Bad

KM & Impact Speak –  This was just horrific. I know Impact isn’t the best on the microphone but my word he stank worse than KM in this segment. I may be being a tad harsh on KM as at least he showed some passion and personality but it was just a real bad segment leading to the match.

Recycling Knockouts –  So for the second week in a row we get the same 6 women battling and beating down following a Taya squash. Yes I know you want to get the 6 Knockout Match sorted, and I know you want to try and save Rosemary vs Taya, but please switch it up a bit. You could at least give us Ally vs Sienna or something as they’re the odd two out in this whole setup!

Matches Ending Too Early –  It seemed to be a common theme this episode of Impact. Just as the matches started to get going, they ended. It particularly hindered KM vs Impact, the International Tag Match and Kong vs Shera. Timings need to be worked out a bit better moving forward so this doesn’t continue to happen.

As a side note i’m a bit sad there was no Richard Justice on show this time out, I hope he’s back next time out. As always you can interact with me on twitter @mrnebarry and through the team @SLTDWrestling, so I look forward to discussing Impact with all the readers.

Until next time.
