Hey everyone it’s bee a while since I’ve been around but I couldn’t let something as big as SummerSlam pass me by without giving my thoughts on who will be the winners at the PPV! Hopefully you all know by now but my name is Rach and I am the first lady of SLTD Wrestling! Here are some of my thoughts on who I think will be victorious at SummerSlam this Sunday!
Carmella, Becky Lynch & Naomi vs Natalya & Alexa Bliss
Well WWE have been busy this week haven’t they! First I thought that this could have been a work and another way for Eva Marie to not debut yet again however on the WWE website the match is listed as above so that may not be the case and we have a three on two match on our hands! I think this match will give us more than we are all expecting and help the Smackdown! women’s division show us what they are truly capable of! There are some fantastic wrestlers in this and I don’t think they will disappoint us. The work Becky and Natalya have been doing recently has been amazing, Carmella and Alexa Bliss have been great in NXT and deserved the call up and Naomi has always been good in the ring and works better as a face. Due to the advantage Carmella, Becky and Naomi have I do think they will take the win unless Natalya and Alexa find someone else at short notice or some sort of dirty tactic to win although I can’t really see that happening!

Cesaro vs Sheamus
These have been having some fantastic matches recently and have been showing that they potentially deserve a title run of some sort rather than just a mid-card match! I have always been a fan of Cesaro and think he has always deserved more than he has been given, in all honesty I wanted him to beat the Miz to become the Intercontinental Champion but as always he came just short for that. These two have a good in ring chemistry as personally I don’t really enjoy watching Sheamus wrestle as I find him boring however I have enjoyed each one of their matches. To me this has been played out now and I think this rivalry needed to end at SummerSlam and for both of them to move on to other things but after the announcement of the Best of Seven I guess we are going to see a lot more from these two!

The Miz (C) vs Apollo Crews
I’ve said this before but I always feel that with the Intercontinental and United States Championship’s that whenever there is focus on one the other seems to be forgotten about and pushed into the background which is what I feel has happened with the Intercontinental Championship as honestly I forgot this was happening. For me the Miz being the champ is over and I feel like we need a new one as honestly I don’t feel like he brings anything to the company for being the champion. It shocks me that he was away filming and they kept him as the champion as it just shows that there is no excitement about this championship. I think giving this to Apollo is the best thing that they can do as I feel he will wear this with pride and to me that’s what you need for these championships not someone who thinks they are better than it.

Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs Kevin Owens & Chris Jericho
Enzo and Cass are my favourite tag team at the moment and Owens and Jericho annoy the life out of me (even more so the fact that Owens blocked me Twitter without even telling me because I said I preferred Sami Zayn), so it will be no shock who I think will win this match. For me though I think this is a really strange match and that it feels like it was just pushed together as there was nothing else for any of them to do. That being said we have 4 good wrestlers in this match and I think that we are not going to be disappointed in this match what so ever and that they are all going to pull out all the stops to show that they deserve more than this.

The New Day (C) vs Gallows & Anderson
I really hope that this is a championship match as I feel like New Day have been champions for far too long now and its gone very stale with them. Don’t get me wrong The New Day work brilliantly together and even though at one point I hated them I think they do bring something different to the Tag Team Division however it’s time for something new and fresh and new champions. Now that Gallows and Anderson have been separated from AJ Styles am excited to see what they have to offer other than the whole we’re going to beat some people up for Styles. Am not entirely happy that these are in the title picture and would have preferred someone else to have taken the championship away from New Day but at the moment anyone is better than New Day!

Sasha Banks (C) vs Charlotte
I don’t think anyone was happier than I was when Charlotte was finally beaten and we had a new Women’s Champion, even more so that that person happened to be none other than The Boss! I think that Sasha as the champion works so much better than Charlotte ever did as with Sasha she is all about proving herself and not using dirty tactics to win which was what was getting boring with Charlotte. Dana being banned from ring side is another bonus and this pairing just added to the annoyance of Charlotte being the champion. I just hope there are no dirty tactics this time and we have a good clean match and some fantastic moves that I feel that these two are more than capable of!

Rusev (C) vs Roman Reigns
This is a really random match for me as one minute Reigns was in the WWE Championship picture then he was suspended, back and now all of a sudden in the United States Championship picture. Personally I don’t think Reigns deserves to be here and think this would have made more sense to have had Sami Zayn or Kevin Owens in this match. That being said the build-up for this has actually been decent and something different to what we are normally used to seeing. I think Rusev is a fantastic champion and should not drop it just yet as unlike any other champion he defends his title a lot which is great to see and something I think a champion should do and even more so when he is my SLTD Fantasy League Champ.

John Cena vs AJ Styles
I feel like this is another match that we have seen enough now and am hoping this will end with this match and we can see both men go on to other things. Am hoping that tonight we will finally be able to see the match that the first one should have been and just see Cena vs AJ without no one else getting involved. Their first match was fantastic and it was ruined when the club came down so this is looking like we will get another fantastic match between these two which I am looking forward to am just hoping that no one does get involved.

Dean Ambrose (C) vs Dolph Ziggler
I was so happy when Ziggler was announced as the number one contender as I genuinely think he deserves this push so much. The build up to this match has been fantastic and the promo that Ziggler shot on Smackdown! was one of the best I have seen and that kick literally came from nowhere. I think this match is going to be a great one as these two always give there all in what they are doing. I think Ambrose as the champion works so well and he should definitely not drop it just yet so unfortunately it looks like Ziggler is going to just come short yet again but there can always be a rematch!

Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor
I want to start this saying how upset and disappointed I was that the demon arrived on a RAW. To me when Balor becomes the demon this is something that should be left for PPV not just a regular RAW. Why they done this I will never know but for me I think that this has taken away from the hype and the atmosphere that there would have been at SummerSlam for seeing the demon for the first time at a big PPV. Everyone will think that this could be too much too soon for Balor but I like that they are going down the same route that they did with Owens which I think that Balor deserves as I would hate for him to have been brought up and then forgotten about. I think this is a sure thing that Seth is going to win as let’s be honest they love that guy. Whichever way this does go this will be another great match and will potentially be a match of the year contender.

Brock Lesnar vs Randy Orton
Honestly this is the match I am looking forward to the least. In the ring I don’t enjoy watching Lesnar as I think he only has 2 moves really and whoever he is in the ring with always has to carry him although I also understand that Lesnar being the main event does bring a lot more people to WWE. I haven’t got many hopes for this match and know that it’s going to be a lot of Orton having to carry him through the match. Unfortunately, Orton won’t get the win as it makes more sense to give it to Leasnar.
