Monday night has brought us as wrestling fans many years of entertainment, and memories. Monday February 8th 2016 was certainly a night to remember, whilst providing a tear-jerking memory.

Daniel Bryan as he is known to WWE audiences has retired from sports entertainment. The real Bryan Danielson and former American Dragon was an Indy darling and his career skyrocketed in ROH, Ring of Honor and while being a pupil of the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. Danielson is a former WWE champion and IC titleholder, which ironically, both top accomplishments were achieved at Wrestlemania one year apart from each other.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Kevin Owens in singles competition during their one-on-one bout. Charlotte defeated Alicia Foxx in a rematch from the Smackdown episode prior. Bray Wyatt defeated Ryback with Sister Abigail. Miz TV became the Chris Jericho Highlight Reel with barbs that both men were defeated by the same man, the Phenomenal AJ Styles. This segment also further hyped the rematch between Jericho and Styles. You may also recall that Miz TV became a segment where The Miz didn’t allow Styles to speak on his show, and Miz got a fist in the mouth for his arrogance and false bravado.

Titus O’Neil was defeated by Adam Rose, of the Social Outcasts. And for those who are not informed, or unaware, O’Neil was recently suspended due to unprofessional conduct; involving contact with Mr. McMahon, and the Chairman who reacted harshly to such behavior and wasn’t deeming it as appropriate or humorous.

In other action, the tag team bout consisted of the Lucha Dragons back in the fray. The Dragons were defeated by League of Nation members Del Rio and Rusev. The main event consisted of an eight man table’s match. The Dudley Boyz with the Uso’s got the duke over the New Day and Mark Henry (who walked out on the shenanigans). But in a twist, the victors in the Dudley’s, turned on the Uso’s. Now, we have the best two tag teams jockeying for position and to make the tag team ranks important again. The best two tag teams (not named New Day) are finally doing battle.

In the best segment and “fight” to further drum up Fastlane, Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose had a war of words earlier in the night, featuring the contract signing. Then, the two men had an altercation in ring, and in which Ambrose was f-5’d by Lesnar.

The final segment of the evening and to close out the show was the Retirement speech and continued the celebration of Daniel Bryan’s career on the WWE Network post-RAW show.

Fastlane is February 21st 2016, and wondering what surprises and happenings this pay per view will reveal?
