WWE Survivor Series – Preictions

Hello it’s me TWB. The Wrestling Brain is here for the second day running, and much like my previous predictions articles I will run through the card, give my opinions on each match and then predict who I think will win.

So let’s get going, as The Wrestling Brain predicts Survivor Series 2015.

Tyler Breeze vs Dolph Ziggler

So this match was announced on the go-home Smackdown and it will be Tyler Breeze’s first PPV match. Personally I feel WWE have dropped the ball with this feud over the few weeks, because of both men being involved in WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament. However I think this will be a great match, especially after reading reports of their matches which took place on the recent UK Tour. Breeze needs to win this match more than Dolph, as it’s his first PPV match, so therefore Breeze wins.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Semi Finals – Kevin Owens vs Dean Ambrose

Why does this have to be a Semi – Final match? Both these two are my favorite wrestlers and currently I can’t decided who’d I prefer to win, however I have two opinions on the match. My first opinion is that to follow wrestling 101, most matches are heel vs face, and because I believe Reigns will defeat Del Rio in the other Semi-Final it makes most sense logically for Kevin Owens to beat Ambrose. However, for a huge swerve later in the evening Ambrose wins, although post-match Owens assaults Ambrose and hits a Pop-Up-Powerbomb onto Ambrose against the ring apron.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Semi Finals – Roman Reigns vs Alberto Del Rio

I might not be only one who thinks Del Rio’s return has been a flop for WWE and Del Rio himself, I think the pairing with Zeb Colter is absurd and just doesn’t work. Throughout the whole of the tournament Reigns has been the favorite to win the title, and I think he’ll certainly win this match, I’m not sure how the match should be booked, but Reigns is 110% winning.

Divas Championship – Charlotte vs. Paige

So after the extremely controversial conclusion to Monday Night Raw, this Divas Title match has a really good storyline to it. Honestly, I’m not condoning the WWE Creative team for what occurred on Monday Night, but it made this feud personal and real, which the Divas Revolution desperately needed. I personally don’t see this match finishing clean, I think Paige wins via DQ, as Charlotte brutally assaults after Paige slaps Charlotte and does a WOO! chant of her own, maybe a Figure 8 on the announcers table, would be a possibility. I see Paige winning by DQ, however still champion Charlotte

Brothers Of Destruction vs Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman

25th years of The Deadman, The Phenom likely making his Last Ride. Bray Wyatt announced on Smackdown that he has chosen Braun Strowman to partner him against The Brothers Of Destruction. Once again I feel WWE have dropped the ball with this feud as I would of had a 4 on 4 elimination match, with Finn Balor and Sting (depending on his injury) partner The Brothers Of Destruction. Instead they’ve gone for the 2 on 2 tag match. I still think Strowman has a lot to learn in the business, so the other three will really have to carry the majority of the match. I don’t know where this feud will go following Survivor Series, but because this years Survivor Series is celebrating The Undertaker’s career, why would Undertaker lose? Will it be setting up a match at Wrestlemania 32? I believe it will, as Undertaker will lose and pass out to Bear-hug from Strowman. Then the 4 on 2 numbers game, despite Harper and Rowan not being in the match should still be involved, Causing The Wyatt Family to prevail and eventually topple the Brothers Of Destruction.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship final – Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose

The main event of the evening, the two “brothers” clash for the title and I believe one man turns heel, I desperately want Ambrose to win, however I think whoever wins is also turning heel. So then let’s talk about each possiblity of either men turning. Of course the significance of Reigns turning heel would be like his cousin (The Rock) turning at Survivor Series 1998, to win the WWE Championship, which he won in a tournament against Mankind. Can you see the similarities between all four things I’ve brought up? For anyone who doesn’t understand, I’ll give you a hint; a tournament at Survivor Series much like it is now, Rock turns and goes corporate. Reigns could go similar and join the Authority, and Ambrose has been called the PG version Mick Foley on many occasions. Now I might be looking into to much, but I hope not. If you listen to the crowd reactions, Ambrose is the most over guy on the roster so turning him heel will be a huge mistake. Right now I feel WWE need a new face, someone like Mick Foley, Stone Cold Steve Austin or like Brian Pillman, not someone who is the Superman and quite frankly a prototype of John Cena. So as WWE move into a new era, they need to take a look at who the crowd really want to get back and can resemble themselves with and Ambrose is their guy to do this. That being said Reigns is the guy who can be the next Brock Lesnar and the new heel to replace Seth Rollins, so I say Reigns turns and hits not just one, but two consecutive spears onto an already wounded Ambrose for the victory, and shakes hands with Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon to close the night.
