Bullet/Balor/Club/Proof

With the emergence of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson it’s now more or less confirmed that WWE are bringing the new band together. The two former members of NJPW’s most infamous stable the Bullet Club have arrived in McMahonLand and are looking to be the biggest, baddest group since the debut of the NWO in July 1996. With rumours circulating of who the leader could be I’m going to bypass that and look at the possible contenders who could occupy places in WWE’s newest faction.

Tyler Breeze

What!! Is you first reaction to this superstar, but hear me out. The former diamond of NXT is in dire need of a change, he has gone from the workhorse in NXT to Jobber in WWE. Breeze is without a doubt a great worker, he’s proved he can work with just about anyone on the roster, from small to big guys. Tyler’s selfie gimmick is all but done, in NXT it worked but in WWE it seems like a small town act, but he could reinvent himself and appear alongside the Club when they are established with their leader. Breeze showing up decked out in black attire with a slightly more serious attitude would work a treat. He can fill the role Kenny Omega held in the NJPW version, he even has similarities with the Young Bucks. Tyler in the club could then focus predominantly in the US/IC title mid-card division alongside opponents such as Neville, Kalisto, Miz. Tyler Breeze needs a change and a chance to resurrect a once promising future, couldn’t you just imagine Breeze looking into the camera proclaiming that he’s “Too Sweet”?

Cesaro

Like many others I love Cesaro, in the ring he arguably one of the best in the world at what he does. The Swiss Superman built his reputation while in the indies, coming to WWE he reached superstardom with his exceptional ring skills and loveable charm. The only downside to Cesaro is his inability to cut that main event calibre promo, yes he connects with the fans but not in the way that will allow him to cut through the proverbial glass ceiling. Cesaro will always like many before and after him be the nearly man, the superstar that didn’t quite have it all to be WWE Champion. Although he has a few cons Cesaro has had and will continue to have a great career, however with his current position you really can’t see him going any further up the WWE ladder. Joining the Club would seem a perfect fit for Cesaro, he could easily fit into the tough guy/bodyguard role of Finn Balor if he were to be the leader. With he new sleek look Cesaro already looks the part, a transition into the groups seems easy.

Sheamus

The former 4 time WWE World Champion needs a change of scenery, Sheamus since his debut in 2009 has done all there is to do in WWE. Sheamus although popular as a face has never really reached the heights the McMahon’s obviously envisaged for him, he has been both face and heel with small success. Although never the superstar that he should have been, Sheamus has over the years matured into a very good worker. Sheamus successfully won the MITB briefcase in 2015 and cashed it on Roman Reigns in November 2015 at the Survivor Series PPV. It could had been the catalyst to which Sheamus rediscovered that spark, however it would turn out to be the catalyst for the next push of Roman Reigns career. His next step was to form the League of Nations with Del Rio, Rusev and the recently departed Wade Barrett, however it hasn’t moved mountains and the group are floundering in the mid-card. Like the guys already mentioned the Irishman needs a change of scenery, his look and ring work scream out for a monster push. His size, move set and aura would suit the roughshod mentality of the Club and if Balor was to become the leader how sweet would it be to have Sheamus by his side.

Bayley

Yeah that’s right Bayley, the loveable, caring sweetheart of NXT would bring the house down if she was to debut, win the title and align with good friend Finn Balor. History has been filled with turns you never saw coming, Hogan, Triple H, HBK to name a few. If her debut in WWE is met with half the excitement it has in NXT then her eventual heel turn could be Hogan esque. WWE have always aligned women with large stables and the Club should be not different, yes Bayley will debut around Summerslam and if WWE are intelligent they will book her to win the title. Just imagine the reaction if she defeats Sasha, Becky or Charlotte with the help of Anderson or Gallows? The reaction alone could be amazing. This suggestion seems out there but it has always been the out there ones that grab the most attention.
