Hello again, it’s me, The Wrestling Brain, and today I shall be discussing why the “Divas of Tomorrow” should be arriving on the main roster today as Sasha Banks and Charlotte should debut tonight on Monday Night Raw.
Team Bella has 3 members ; The Bella Twins and Alicia Fox
Team Paige has 1 member ; Paige
Last week on Raw, I felt was the perfect time for the debuts of Charlotte and Sasha Banks, as Team Bella beat down Paige, I was waiting desperately for Charlotte’s and Sasha’s music to hit, to make the save but it never happened. However, according to several reports Charlotte and Sasha Banks could make their debuts on Raw tonight. Take this as a rumour though, many rumours aren’t correct and don’t happen, but this rumour seems highly likely and here’s why.
It seems as though at Battleground it will be Nikki Bella vs Paige for the Divas Title again, however Paige will be under a 3-on-1 scenario, therefore how about on Raw, it looks as though another beat down is going to take place, but Charlotte’s music hits, but Team Bella points out that it is still 3 on 2, then Sasha Banks runs down and the 3 faces take down the 3 heels. Paige says that she needed her friends from NXT to help her take down Team Bella.
Another reason why Charlotte and Sasha should debut tonight on Raw, is down to the request from both The Bella Twins, according to reports both Bella’s asked Vince McMahon to promote Divas from NXT soon, this hasn’t happened yet, but with this 3-on-1 storyline going on it seems that it would be the perfect time for the promotions of both Banks and Charlotte.
Thanks a lot, Tough Enough, firstly it’s not a great show, but has also taken away Paige from the Smackdown tapings, so recent Smackdown’s where Paige is sat behind a desk with The Hulkster and Daniel Bryan, you have had The Bella Army go up against Naomi and Tamina, the same Naomi that turned heel in April. So are The Bellas being portrayed as faces on Smackdown, but heels on Raw? No one knows and quite frankly no one cares, apart from me.
I have two solutions for this, put Tough Enough on a Friday night is my first solution, because WWE you need your biggest face Diva on both shows every week, or a Divas match is instead of a must-watch but a must-miss. However my second solution is simply promote Charlotte and Sasha Banks, especially if they are portrayed as faces as it allows the next 9 Smackdowns when Tough Enough is on, for Smackdown to have proper faces, it allows the Team Bella to stay the cocky, perfect and in-your-face heels and Charlotte and Sasha faces, it keeps the storyline going whilst Paige is off doing Tough Enough, instead of the storyline derailing with The Bella Army being heels one night and faces the next. Three words Quick Easy Simple…. Promote Sasha and Charlotte now.
Nikki Bella is injured! it’s the best WWE news I have read in a while, sorry Nikki but quoting your boyfriend John Cena “Your Time is Up”! Nikki Bella has been the Divas Champion for 8 months, 8 long months, a few times it has looked as though she would lose the Divas Title, but no she hasn’t lost it, but with the introduction of Charlotte and Sasha Banks hopefully tonight, it will potentially prove that WWE are ready to take the title off Nikki and give her time to heal from her injury that she has sustained.
Charlotte has been in NXT for 3 years now, she dropped the title in an astounding Fatal 4 way match at the NXT Special in February, in all honesty she has been stuck in limbo for 5 months. I have been anticipating her debut for 5 months, I hoped it would be post-Wrestlemania 31 like Paige the year before, but it never happened, it will be long overdue debut for Charlotte.
“The Boss” Sasha Banks has had so many great matches in the last year, the Fatal 4 way match and the match against Becky Lynch are most notable, also the match that her and Charlotte will have on NXT this Thursday will not disappoint, if she and WWE allow her to have a great matches against the likes of Charlotte and Paige on the main roster, it will finally #GiveDivasAChance.
