Once again Team SLTD have gotten together to give our thoughts on who we think will come out victorious at WrestleMania. Will it be the RAW Womens Champion Bayley or will Sasha Banks, Charlotte or Nia Jax become the new champion?

On paper, this has the potential to be a fantastic match, maybe match of the night. However, I do think it would have been a better build if Bayley was still chasing her first main roster championship and if Charlotte’s undefeated PPV streak was still in tact. But regardless, it should still be a great match and could be even better than last year’s match between Charlotte, Sasha and Becky Lynch. As for the winner, it’s tough to call, but I’m going to go for a Sasha Banks win with a heel turn for ‘The Boss’ thrown in as the icing on the cake.

The Raw Women’s Title has been a hot potato for the majority of the last 12 months and I’m sorry it just doesn’t do it for me, I much prefer a long title reign and then you have the shock factor when the champion loses the title. I think the title changes hands again at WrestleMania though, as my prediction is that Sasha Banks will live up to her idol’s persona of Lie, Cheat and Steal, just as Bayley hits a Bayley to Bayley onto Charlotte, Sasha can throw Bayley out of the ring and steal the pinfall.

There’s no doubt this will be a brilliant match however much like another certain match on the card I don’t understand why Charlotte has yet another title opportunity.
Sasha should have turned on Bayley and this should have been a heel Banks v face Bayley match, one on one.
I do understand Charlotte is a fantastic athlete and wrestler and would be a shame to leave her out of such a high profiled match, but from a booking standpoint it’s odd at how many Women’s Title matches she receives.
The addition of Nia Jax to the RAW Women’s Title match is a welcome one from my perspective, she offers a different style to Banks, Flair or Bayley. I wouldn’t be too disappointed should Jax be victorious in this match, and despite her slow start on the main roster, she has a lot of momentum behind her, and would be a very believable champion.

This match, honestly is not going to interest me. It’s again still the same 4 Women for RAW that have been used for a year. Even worse? They’re not even gonna make Nia the dominant monster that she is! One thing I do like about this match, is the elimination stipulation. What I will say though is we all know that it will come down to Charlotte and Bayley, which we have already seen a thousand times. It’s very annoying when talents such as summer Rae aren’t been used due to RAW creative been idiots and using the same women.
I don’t want this to be a rant, but I am disappointed in the booking. I’m not saying it’s been bad, but it hasn’t been the best it could’ve been and definitely needed improvement.
So without further a due, I do think Bayley will retain the title.

The Raw women’s title has been a hot potato ever since the brand split, changing hands 7 times in 9 months, and I’m not a fan. I much prefer a long and meaningful title run, then you have the big shock factor whenever that current champion loses. This Sunday’s match at WrestleMania between the current champion Bayley, Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Nia Jax will yet again provide a new champion, my prediction is that Nia Jax will be eliminated first after 3 of the 4 horsewomen will work together to eliminate the wildcard, then Charlotte will be eliminated, leaving it to the best friend’s Sasha Banks and Bayley. Everyone has been predicting that Sasha will turn on Bayley, and I think that’s a simple prediction, Sasha will take a page from her hero Eddie Guerrero’s playbook and lie, cheat and steal the Raw Women’s Championship

As a self-admitted Bayley mark, I personally hope Bayley retains her title at WrestleMania. However, personal opinion aside it seems like it’s time for Sasha Banks to have her WrestleMania moment. Charlotte has already been booked as the strongest female wrestler on the entire roster and Bayley is essential the female John Cena, no matter how hard you knock her down she is going to recover.
Sasha Banks however has been flitting between a solid second to Charlotte and jobbing to Nia Jax. She has proven she has all the skill in the world and by giving her a win at WrestleMania will reassure the fans that Sasha Banks truly is a main event superstar.
Furthermore, WWE have been hinting a heel turn from Banks, and after her heel work in NXT that would be a refreshing change to the RAW women’s scene. Not only that, but having Banks pin Bayley to win the title at WrestleMania would give her instant heel heat, and set up a killer storyline.

When I heard through the dirt sheet grapevine that this fatal four way was planned for WrestleMania, I immediately shot down those rumours in mind. I thought that it couldn’t possibly be happening. We’ve had a whole year of Sasha Banks vs Charlotte feuding for this RAW Women’s title. We’ve seen Bayley vs Charlotte over and over again ever since Charlotte’s debut in NXT. We’ve seen almost every variation involving Bayley, Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Nia Jax since the days of NXT literally (and I’m also certain it’s ACTUALLY literally at this point) thousands of time. I at least expected Charlotte vs Nia Jax, which I’m sure has NEVER happened before. It seemed impossible that this was an idea for a WrestleMania. Well, low and behold, that’s what they’re doing. They’re doing this fatal four way at WrestleMania. I mean I don’t even… why? Why are we watching this match at WrestleMania? Who does it benefit? Why do we have to see Charlotte in a title match again? Who could possibly care about the potential of another Charlotte title reign? Who? I’m fairly certain at this point that even CHARLOTTE couldn’t care about a potential 5th title reign.
All of that work at last year’s to build up the women and that grand fatal four way and a year later, there’s not a single woman on the RAW roster worth caring about. They even found a way to kill BAYLEY as a character? It must take some serious skill to cause Bayley to become almost an irrelevant champion. They beat Charlotte’s grand PPV streak at Fastlane and nobody cared. Nia Jax has already been beaten several times before Mania. Sasha has lost over and over again. Bayley loses nearly every other match on RAW. It’s IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to take this division seriously on RAW. No matter how good Charlotte is or how much you like Sasha and Bayley or how much of a monster they’ve pushed Nia, they’ve made this match seem so unappealing to the casual wrestling fan or just wrestling fans in general. I have two theories about the finish that I would actually be fine with – either Nia runs through and eliminates everyone to become the truly most dominant champion on RAW OR Charlotte is eliminated right away and then Sasha beats Bayley at the end by cheating and turning heel. That’s the only two scenarios that I’d be happy with. Even if they did all of that, there is some SERIOUS work to be done with this division.

I think this match would have been a whole lot better if it was just Bayley vs Sasha Banks I don’t understand why Charlotte had to be added to this. Nia Jax being added to this match makes a lot more sense than Charlotte does! I think this match as usual will turn in to the ‘Charlotte Show’ as for some reason WWE are obsessed with her. However, after Bayley finally defeating Charlotte at a PPV I am hoping that will mean that we won’t see Charlotte become a 5 time champ in 12 months as… come on! What the actual hell is that! Honestly for me I don’t mind who wins this match as long as it isn’t Charlotte and we can for once see other people fighting for the championship rather than Charlotte vs someone!
