You’ve been asking for it, and now you’re getting it! SLTD Radio will make its return this coming Thursday – that’s the 9th January 2014 – at 8:30pm UK time. However, there’s going to be some changes for the New Year.
After careful consideration, we have decided NOT to talk about the current wrestling product. To be brutally honest, there’s nothing engaging for us to talk about and there’s nothing that all 3 of us are enjoying enough to spend 2 hours talking about, so instead, we’re going to be focusing on “vintage” wrestling from here on in.
The reason behind our decision is because the ratings for the series of specials that we did last year were so good that we’ve decided to do those episodes on an almost permanent basis from this point on.
Some weeks, we’ll talk about a classic episode of Raw. Other weeks it might be SmackDown, TNA, WCW or a classic wrestling PPV from years gone by. There will also be times where we’ll tackle a specific wrestling topic, like “Wrestlers Who Should Have Been World Champion” or we’ll count down our favourite wrestlers/PPVs/theme songs of all-time. It’ll be different every week and hopefully, our enthusiasm will shine through.
We still need you guys to get involved on Twitter/Facebook as normal, but we’d also encourage those of you who DON’T listen live to send us an e-mail before the show with a topic/question you’d like us to discuss. It’s easy. Just send your question/topic to sltdwrestling@gmail.com and we’ll cover it on the show.
We want the people who don’t listen live to feel as if they’re just as much a part of the show as those who do listen live. We’d love to get your feedback/questions/thoughts on the shows too!
