Once again Team SLTD have gotten together to give our thoughts on the Six Pack Challenge at Fastlane tonight for the WWE Championship! Will AJ Styles be able to beat the odds and remain WWE Champion or will Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin or John Cena become the new champion!
We all give our thoughts below but let us know, in the comments below, who you think will be walking out the champion at Fastlane tonight!

I think we all expect AJ Styles to walk out of this one as the winner after all this Fastlane PPV is just a traffic light on the road to Wrestlemania.
Imagine the swerve if Dolph Ziggler or Sami Zayn were to get the win and walk out as champion? I can’t see that happening and the Styles v Shinsuke Nakamura match will go ahead as expected.
The match itself should be a great, exciting and fast-paced bout, and will be a chance for the other 5 competitors to stake their claim to be on the main show in New Orleans on April 8th.

I really hope the result of this match is blatantly obvious and predictable because if it is, AJ Styles will be going to Wrestlemania as WWE Champion to face Shinsuke Nakamura. AJ vs Shinsuke won’t be the main event, it probably won’t be the co-main event, to be honest, I could see it opening the main show, but for the internet fans and most of the fans inside the Mercedes Benz Superdome it’s the match everybody is looking forward to the most, and what better opening to a Wrestlemania, to a hot and lively crowd, or closing Wrestlemania to a dead crowd who have watched 6 hours of wrestling, I certainly know which one I’d choose.

Smackdown is really loving stacking the odd’s against AJ Styles at the minute! This match has got the potential to be an outstanding match, there are some fantastic wrestlers in this and with the Owens and Zayn storyline going backwards and forwards I do think we are going to be in for a treat with this one! Personally, I would love Sami Zayn to pin Owens to become the champion but the thought of AJ Styles vs Nakamura at Wrestlemania is too good of a match to not have that being one of the main events on the grandest stage of them all which does make me think Styles will retain! I am torn to say Zayn will win as Styles could always win the championship back at a Smackdown before Wrestlemania but I think we are getting too close for the championship to be changing hands so much although Zayn could win and we could have Nakamura vs Zayn vs Styles at Wrestlemania which sounds like a fantastic match! So am going to go with what I think would be the better match at Wrestlemania and say that Zayn is going to shock us all and win the championship!

The road to WrestleMania goes into the Fastlane (that’s the first and last pun you get!) with the 6-Pack challenge for the WWE Championship. If we look at the competitors and what is pencilled in to happen at WrestleMania, I can easily see 3 wrestlers getting the win – Styles, Cena and Ziggler. For Styles to win, it gives us the Nakamura match that we have been waiting for since he won the Rumble. For Cena to win, it will give us John Cena vs The Undertaker, Title vs Career on the grandest stage of them all. For Ziggler to win, we get CM Punk version 2. Ziggler for me can cut it on the mic in a similar vein to Punk and with a one month build to a match vs Nakamura, it would be an amazing spectacle. Owens and Zayn won’t get the win as (I hope for) Owens vs Zayn at WrestleMania. Corbin won’t get the win because, well, it’s not Corbin time. Would I like to see Styles vs Nakamura? For sure.Would I like to see Cena beat Flair’s record for the most World Title and use that to build against The Undertaker? Definitely. Would I like to see Ziggler being able to show what he can as Champion? Hell yes. It’s a tough call for me, but as Eddie Guerrero did at the PPV before WrestleMania, I’m picking Ziggler to get the win.

AJ should win point blank, in my honest and well thought out opinion, the main match for me as an attendee for WRESTLEMANIA, the reason I bought the ticket, is to see AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship in a Wrestle Kingdom Classic rematch, so please WWE, don’t fuck (fluff for the article) this up, your giving the casuals Roman, give the loyal fans the match WE WANT!
