#TheRAWReport – 16th July 2018 (@runner_rope)

Welcome to this week’s Raw Report, here are the main talking points from last night’s Raw.

Summerslam Return for Brock Lesnar

At last night’s Extreme Rules Pay-per-view, Raw general manager Kurt Angle gave Lesnar an ultimatum of that Lesnar must agree to a Universal title defence or he would be stripped of the belt. Tonight, Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman told Angle that Lesnar is to defend his championship. So Angle made two qualifying triple-threat matches for the night, one included Roman Reigns, Finn Balor and Drew McIntyre and the other included Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley & Elias. Reigns and Lashley won their respective matches and will face each next week and the winner will face Lesnar for the Universal title at Summerslam. I’ve got a feeling that Reigns will win this one as Lashley beat him at Extreme Rules. Let’s just hope that Reigns finally slays the beast, and maybe even a cash-in from Braun Strowman.

Love is in the Air (apparently)

At this point, it seems that WWE thinks this feud between Bayley and Sasha Banks is a lost cause, and if you think this storyline could get any more strange, Banks revealed to Bayley that she loved her. On paper, this was a storyline that was so easy to write, but WWE couldn’t even get it right. Surely this angle cannot get any worse, and things are on the way up for Bayley and Banks.

Ronda Rousey Gets Her Shot at Alexa Bliss

Rousey took matters into her own hands last night, despite having two days left on her 30-day suspension from Raw. She stormed to the ring and was seconds away from snapping Bliss’ arm before GM Kurt Angle came to the ring and extended Rousey’s suspension for another week, but awarded Rousey a Raw women’s championship match at Summerslam against Alexa Bliss. Some people say that Rousey doesn’t deserve these opportunities, but I think that Rousey has proved since Wrestlemania that she can hang with the best in a WWE ring.

A Proud Day for Sarah Logan

Last night on Raw Sarah Logan defeated Ember Moon in which was her first win in a singles match on the main roster. Its taken her a while to get her first win, so congratulations to her.

Mojo Rawley Squashes Tyler Breeze

The former Hype Bro Mojo Rawley once again impressed in last night’s victory against Tyler Breeze. The way that the Raw commentators were putting over Rawley it seems that WWE are about to pull the trigger on a push for him and maybe in the future we could see gold around his waist.

That was this week’s RAW Report, what were your thoughts on this week’s red show?
