WWMD : Booking WWE into 2017, Part 1

In this WWMD we’ll be looking at how WWE can finish off 2016 and start to build towards 2017 being a year to remember for the squared circle. Over the next four weeks we’ll look at wrestlers, gimmick matches, stables and more in order for memories to be made. So, lets get going!

The Build to WrestleMania begins at the Royal Rumble

WrestleMania is the crowning piece of the WWE Crown and needs the spotlight on it. This begins at the Royal Rumble. Storylines need to be set up for WrestleMania to ensure that the matches can get the emotion, the response and the demand from the fans to see them. The winner of the Rumble match gets to main event WrestleMania but what about the US or Intercontinental Title? Or the Tag Team Title? Make the magical time between January and March be the magical time it should be.

Make The Wyatt Family a family

Since their inception, The Wyatt Family have been a credible threat and have had a lot to offer as time goes by. However, losses, injuries and John Cena have meant their stock has been hit, a lot. The Wyatt’s need to be big, be formidable, be the scarey guys on the roster – to do this they need the numbers. Why not have Bray, Luke and Rowan be joined by repackaged Bo Dallas and using a female wrestler. Then we have Sister Abigail and have The Wyatt’s dominate WWE.

Use Part-Time wrestlers properly

Yes, it’s lovely seeing Brock Lesnar, The Rock, Goldberg to name a few come back.  They get an amazing pop but what does that achieve in the long term? WWE need to make stars, they need to create new household names and not go back to safe options. If they do use part time talent then there should be one mantra for using them. What difference will it create for who they are facing.
