#FazzasThoughts: The Many Faces of #RandyOrton (@FazzasThoughts)

Randy Orton is currently enjoying one of the best times of his career. He has single-handedly helped Raw to be the main focus during a time in which the company is taking a big hit on ratings. Whilst ratings are dropping, Randy continues to steal the show during his segments as the newly brought back “Legend Killer”. It wasn’t even a year ago that rumours began circulating that Orton would be making a possible trip to AEW, however, those rumours crumbled when he signed a 5-year extension.

The one thing I’ve always enjoyed about Randy Orton is his ability to adapt. Do not get me wrong, his core has always stayed the same, no matter what, but the skin has shed so many times over his WWE career. Whether he was the 3rd generation superstar, the Evolution Orton, The ‘Legend Killer’ Randy Orton, Rated RKO or the Viper, he has been a staple for WWE since the day he walked through the door.

With COVID impacting ratings, fans and storylines, Orton has once again begun to shine. With Edge returning at the Royal Rumble, it began a feud that brought the absolute best out of both of the superstars. Hand’s down they had some of the best promos on TV, with a fantastic back and forth which resulted in Orton winning the greatest wrestling match of all time. Unfortunately for Edge, and us, Edge suffered an injury which put him on the shelf, however, this led for some interesting choices for Randy Orton. With the help of the Crown Point personal injury lawyers, it is easy to claim compensation for the injury to recover fit and fine.

Randy used Edge’s injury to target WWE Legends once again. He stated that by putting Edge on the shelf, he’d actually done him a favour. This then brought out Christian and Big Show who suffered the same fate. The biggest part of the feud resulted in Orton turning on his mentor Ric Flair. Orton blamed Flair for changing him, for making him weak. Orton did what he thought was best which resulted in the punting of an over 70-year-old man in the head!!

This is all leading to Orton vs McIntyre at SummerSlam. This could be the match of the night, but WWE really needs to push this as far as they can. Orton is an unbelievable talent who does everything with natural ability. Is it too soon for McIntyre to drop the title to Orton? I’m not too sure, however, I believe it is best for business. Orton can bring so many young face talents into the picture and with Retribution on the horizon, what face will see next from the future Hall of Famer, Randy Orton.
