Hello and welcome to The Wrestling Brain’s Hell In A Cell predictions. Much like my previous two installments of predictions articles, I will run through each and every match on the card with my opinion on what could go down and who I think will win, so let’s get the ball rolling, with the Pre – Show match.
Ziggler, Cesaro and Neville vs King Barrett, Sheamus and Rusev
This will be a rematch of what we saw on last week’s Monday night Raw, in my opinion WWE have put this match together for the sake of it and have placed it on the pre-show. These are six superstars who I truly believe should be on the main card and you never know they could be later on in the night. I probably won’t watch the match, however for the sake of it and to keep the trio of Rusev, Barrett and Sheamus strong I am going for a win for the heels.
Winners – Rusev, Sheamus and King Barrett
The Dudley Boyz vs The New Day – WWE Tag Championship
I’m probably not the only one who hated The New Day when they started as a tag team, that said now they are the best part of Raw and Smackdown every week and recently have been a dominant force in the tag division. However, The Dudley’s are back in WWE and I have to admit I still pop whenever there entrance music hits, for the sake of an even bigger payoff for The New Day at TLC imagining both teams are thrown against each other in some form of Survivor Series match. I believe the Dudley’s will defeat The New Day tonight I don’t know how or even why, but I believe then The Dudley’s put over The New Day at TLC in a Tables matches.

Charlotte vs Nikki Bella – Divas Championship
Since Charlotte won the title back at Night Of Champions, I feel the focus has come off the belt and more focus has been placed on Paige and her impending heel turn. I have two opinions on this matches, either Charlotte retains and she moves onto new challengers hopefully Sasha Banks, or Nikki Bella regains the title and really we’re back to square one of the Divas Revolution. However, I think square one is the best option because I feel Paige will complete her full heel turn by costing Charlotte the match and her title

Kevin Owens vs Ryback – Intercontinental Championship
Feed me more vs Fight Owens Fight. I once again hope that Kevin Owens wins and ends this feud and I think after watching a few recent promos by Kevin Owens disrespecting the Intercontinental Title and whoever has held it before him. I firmly believe that Daniel Bryan will return and feud with Kevin Owens over the title he had to drop, when he’s back and he’s going to get back his title.

Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt – Hell In A Cell match
In their final match in their rivalry that’s lasted since June. (so that’s 4 month) Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns meet in a Hell In A Cell match, where no –one can interfere, yeah right I think we all know The Wyatt’s will interfere on Bray’s behalf and will help their leader win. So it actually won’t be their final match, as I believe we will have a match at Survivor Series match between team Reigns and team Wyatt’s.
Winner – Bray Wyatt
John Cena Open Challenge – US Championship
For the last 6 days I have been thinking who could John Cena’s mystery opponent be, several names have been in my head whether it be Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro, Tyler Breeze, Samoa Joe or James Storm. But two men are my final picks, firstly shouldn’t WWE have Tyler Breeze debut on a PPV if he was going to accept John Cena’s challenge, also there’s no news if or when Daniel Bryan will return. Whereas Dolph and Cesaro are all competing in a match. Both Samoa Joe and James Storm are on NXT and it’s not even known if either men will make it to the main roster. So who will it be, remember Hell In A Cell is in LA which is basically Hollywood and who is Hollywood, who is the biggest star currently in Hollywood, one man The Great One. The Rock vs John Cena and as unexpected as it would be because you would feel WWE would announce The Rock vs John Cena, it’s all about the surprise. However WWE could make big money on a 3rd match between The Rock and John Cena. So it is not going to happen this time, however I think it’ll be champion vs champion as Finn Balor, makes his long awaited debut and beats John Cena after hitting a second Coup De Grace.

Demon Kane vs Seth Rollins – WWE World Heavyweight Championship
I’m a huge fan of Seth Rollins but it annoys me how weak he is being built as champion apart from at the PPV itself. So once again I expect Rollins putting a good performance, against Kane. I think Rollins wins, but Kane loses it with Rollins and completely destroys him, because he knows he’s lost his job as director of operations. Thus leading to Sheamus cashing in on a beaten down Rollins and becoming new champion

Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker – Hell In A Cell match
In what is being built up as their final match in this trilogy, The Beast Incarnate is going to face The Phenom, in the Devil’s favourite playground the Hell In A Cell. A win for The Undertaker doesn’t really help anyone because it means he’s won the series of matches, so really Brock beating the streak doesn’t really do a great deal. Now that Undertaker would of won the trilogy. Brock beats Undertaker clean, unless there’s an interference from someone which sets up Brock’s match at Wrestlemania, but who could it be apparently Stone Cold is going to be there. So maybe or they finally do Rock vs Brock, no – one knows, but I believe this rivalry needs to finish clean and it finishes with Brock hitting an F5 to finish the match and get his second PPV win of the year.
