Hello, and thank you for taking time out of your day to read this Fox Files article. Today, we are going to be discussing 5 WWE Wrestlers who would really benefit from turning either heel or face. So let’s not waste any more time and get straight into it.
Kevin Owens
Now in 2017 and 2018, Kevin Owens has been in matches and rivalries with Shane McMahon, teamed up with Sami Zayn and more. However, since Sami Zayn is now injured and Kevin Owens is on RAW, I think it’s time for him to turn face. In my opinion, he would really benefit from a face run, as most of the WWE Universe cheer Kevin Owens anyway. It could even lead to bigger programmes and a Universal Championship run. I think Kevin Owens vs Brock Lesnar would be a great match…
Finn Balor
Now, I might get a lot of backlash for this but honestly, Finn Balor isn’t really interesting to me currently with his face run. I remember watching one of his NJPW matches where he was a heel, and he has a much more vicious side to him. That’s the Finn Balor I want to see. A heel and if possible, DEMON Finn Balor with a completely new change of attitude could definitely lure me into being more of a Finn Balor fan.
Elias
Now when Elias used to be in NXT, I absolutely despised the guy, to the extent that I use to turn it off when he came onto the TV. However, in my opinion, Elias has been THE best callup that WWE has EVER done with an NXT superstar to the main roster. Every single week on RAW he is one of the most entertaining parts of the show, and the fans feel the same way, the way he captivates a crowd is awe-inspiring and he will most certainly be a champion by the end of 2018, and I can also see him accomplishing that as a face.
Bayley
Ever since she was introduced in NXT, she has been the lovable hugger and that has continued right through to now on the main roster. However on the 25th June edition of Monday Night RAW, Bayley showed more viciousness in her attack on Sasha Banks and my god, it was fantastic. I would now love to see the bad, vicious Bayley as she turns heel, because her face character in my opinion has gotten a little stale. Bayley as a heel would have me hooked from day one if WWE book it right and do it the right way.
Dean Ambrose
Now I know that Dean Ambrose has been out of action for several months with an injury, but he is set to make his return very shortly, and it needs to be as a heel. Dean as a face for me just doesn’t work, he needs to be the lunatic, dangerous Jon Moxley, he needs to be psychotic in a way, having a much more heel side of his character, because that’s when Dean Ambrose is at his best. It’s simple, have him attack Rollins upon his return, bring out a new, vicious side of him and it will be money.
