Welcome back to SLTD Wrestling. Today’s edition will include everything you need to know about WWE 2K19 so far, specifically about the brand new mode that has just been announced. Let’s not waste anymore time and get straight into this one.
The big news coming out of the week was about the brand new mode in WWE 2K19, Towers Mode. Essentially, it’s much like the main mode in Mortal Combat, to put it simply, you go through a certain amount of superstars to complete that tower. Some examples in the video are The People’s Tower, showing off the first 4 superstars. By the looks of things, there are 8 main towers and then your weekly, daily and monthly challenges you have to complete, which will improve the longevity of the game. In my personal opinion, this game is one of the most underrated WWE Games of all time! This was the 2nd to last game from THQ and the last game to feature Road To WrestleMania mode. In WWE 12 they were just introducing what Universe Mode would become in WWE 2K18. As much as the menu theme was annoying, as it was the same one over and over, looking back it’s actually quite enjoyable! This was also the first game to feature “Predator Technology” a brand new graphics engine for WWE Games, which was used all the way up to WWE 2K18. Looking back, this is one of my favourite WWE Games and a very underrated game, hence why I made this the featured game this week.
